No caffeine after dinner. Once I'm in bed, I start taking something apart. I think my way through disassembling a computer, or an engine, anything. Something methodical. I talk myself through it and usually I'll pass on out.

What's up?

Well, for starters, me. Went to bed around 0130, and was awakened by the dogs around 0830. Got a decent night's sleep. Just not ready to be awake yet. Something must be done about these damned dogs.

Misty and I rolled out to faire yesterday with acd, Tamara Lee and some of their family. We ran into Chaosrunner and some of his crew while there. Sorry we didn't hook up with you guys later on, we were just about spent by the time we'd run into you. Ate an enormous amount of food including but not limited to:

• Fried macaroni and cheese on a stick
• Fried beef and cheese on a stick
• Fried pickles
• Spinach pie (x2)
• Porkchop on a stick (not fried oddly enough)
• Fried ice cream

Who knew they did so much frying during the Renaissance? We had a great time and I was absolutely worn out by the time we headed out.

Today is Chase race #1 at New Hampshire International Speedway. You know where I'll be at 1230 today. Jeff qualified third. Keep your fingers crossed.

Let's see, what else what else what else..... The milder weather has given the grass a temporary reprieve and it is once again growing at speed. We got home last night to discover that our neighbor cut our front yard. Normally this would be cause for an international incident, but it turns out he thought we had left for our trip to Tampa and had cut it thinking I had forgotten to. Forgotten to? WTF are you thinking man? Anyway, it was nice of him and it means I only have to take care of the jungle in the back yard today. Probably after the race. Not feeling like running outside just yet. The grass is still wet anyway.

That's about all I've got. Maybe I'll see if I can score the last element in Minish Cap before the race starts.

My middle name is Glen. It is my father's first name. My father's middle name is his father's first name. And so on and so on.

If you could write a book about anything, what would it be about?

Maybe it's a little narcissistic but I'd write a book about myself. Like an autobiography. I've always thought that would be neat/fun/etc. There are so many things about myself I want other people to know but I'm not really a talker, not unless you get me out on a balcony while drinking. :)

How well do you know your next-door neighbors?

Well. On one side of us is the county-owned crazy house. No, seriously. It's a house. Owned by the county. People with "mental health" issues live there. I don't know anybody there.

I know most of the rest of our immediate neighbors pretty well. I helped one of them put together a playset for his kid last weekend. The older couple across the street from us is very nice. Not much else to say. Everyone (except the nut house) is pretty cool as far as neighbors go.
